Beertje had a sleepover with grandma at the beach

A bit more than a year after his older brother had his first stay-over with grandmother, which seems forgotten because the passing of my father overtook our memories,   it was now time for his younger brother.  Previous Summer we judged Beertje a bit too young, but this time he was really looking forward to this trip and so proud that it was now his turn.  Kabouter was jealous but he's supposed to be in school so tough luck. 

When I look at my mom's pictures and saw their happy faces on Facetime, it seems like they really had a good time together.   There was beach time, playground time, walks, riding cars etc...

Clearly grandchildren are allowed to do things that children would never have been allowed to do ;)
