A sunny walk with the children

It was glorious blue sunny weather on Saturday so I forced the boys to join me in a walk/bike ride to get outdoors and give the new cat a little bit of rest from 2 children chasing him all the time.

We started via the city cimetary where there's temporary an art box installation De Sjel, but unfortunately someone was already inside and we couldn't join.  Another time maybe.

We played a bit at the playground of the Belle-Vue park along the railroad.

We looped a bit through the nearby streets to hunt for the last street art in Leuven that I didn't see yet to fill a 6th (and last?) post about streetart in Leuven.  Some nice new additions coming :).

Fortunately I had a spare mask in my purse so we could turn back via the railroad...always an exciting place to pass by for the children. And I love the architecture.

Leuven - Altijd samen,   zelfs als we niet samen mogen zijn

The children wanted to have some ice-cream but fortunately the ice-bar in the neighbourhood next to the big playground has just opened up again for the season.  So we walked back home along the ringroad . Fortunately the ice is just in a little pot as the children don't finish it at all and it's not far to quickly walk home and put the left-overs in the freezer.  We crossed some classmates and observed the playground buzzing with activity.

And then after our excursion of 2 hours, it was time to get reunited with Rodin.
