1.  Homemade pizza...always great fun

2. After already one year in the Maggie shelter tents at school, the demolition of the old school buildings and the construction works have finally started.  Fortunately the facade with Owl street art will remain but all behind it will be torn down and that won't be missed.  The new plans look very exciting and finally the school will have a polyvalent room/ gym. 

Unfortunately that means for the parents that live on our side of the school that the front entrance closes for 1,5 year and we must now take a bit tour around the neighbourhood to arrive in the streets behind the school and take the back entrance which is now the only entrance at the end of the school garden.  
The plan to make a new trail along the railroad and cut and opening through the garden wall hasn't made it in the discussions with the city and Infrabel, apparently.  Bleh.   That is 30 minutes more walking for us on a day. 

The back entrance hidden between residential houses in a dead-end street...now hosting the main entrance and getting a partial closure every day to host all parents arriving.

3.  You don't need beaches to have cool sunsets. Just commuting home in fall can be gorgeous. 

4. Rodin seemingly not fitting the sofa he sits in....or spending a day next to me in our home office ...or hidden in Beertje's wardrobe when he left the door open.

7.  Curious neighbour cats approaching (or even sneaking into my mom's garage when the door was open for a short moment). 

8.  "The park" at the Parkpoort that is ruined after the world championship cycling now that finally the entire VIP villages is taken down.  Let's hope the new plans for reconstruction will improve the original.

17.   The escaped office neighbour dog keeps escaping and visiting us. I'm sure our office is more fun than his. 

18. We deconstructed the pool mid-September.  It's not been used as much as we anticipated when we ordered it. I've never been in it this summer, it was never warm enough for me.
