We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Foster the People - Pumped up kicks

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

"I hate Mondays" by the Boomtown rats is such a fun song but it chokes your throat when you think about the text.   

While I had a really quick & easy association to link with The Cure's  - Friday I'm in love as counterhit, I did want to dive a bit further into gun violence, mass shootings etc. 

And then I found these choices:

I went for the first one...also a seemingly happy song if you don't pay attention to the lyrics.
