We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Camila Cabello - Havana

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

You can find our in the mean time long and fun playlist on Spotify and op Youtube. Subscribing to it is possible!

Anne slowed down this Tuesday with Joe Jackson's slow song.  Well she didn't slow down, we were still thriving on our melodramatic songs.  But this wasn't so melodramatic anymore.

I hesitated to continue fast or slow:

  • Johnny cash - Fast song
  • Copeland - Love is a fast song
  • Hamza - Slow (feat Damso)
  • Kylie Minogue - Slow

But there's such an importance of music and the DJ, sounds or the silence...

  • Indeep - Last night a DJ saved my life
  • Simon & Garfunkel : The sound of silence
  • Moby - Thousand

But then I decided to search for musical alliterations

  • Camilo Cabello - Havana (of Senorita)
  • Culture Club - The War Song
  • ...

Haaaaa an opportunity to play Havana. I love Havana. When it hits my playlist, it goes on repeat for a few times, so let's stop the search with Camila Cabello.  She sings it nice and slow, so it's a slow song after all. But sensual, not melodramatic.
