A solitary sunny walk in the east of Belgium

After the busy Christmas days with the 3 family gatherings, we were just very briefly in the east of Belgium.  That was an excellent choice as most of Belgium was stuck in grey fog and thanks to weather inversion only the Belgian heights in the east of Belgium got sunshine.

And gosh that sunshine was glorious. The boys all still stuck with their mega cold stayed at home watching movies but I enjoyed a good solitary walk in the cold.  I was glad to see some left-overs from the snowfall the days before but mostly sucked in the view of a blue sky and that big yellow boll in the sky.  

I hardly crossed a soul which was also a delight after a very busy month.
