Staying cool in the east of Belgium

Nope we didn't drive to the east of Belgium this weekend.  We had an empty calendar, though, a unique opportunity. But the predicted summer weather toned down and all of a sudden we were not in the mood for a grey cloudy moderate day over there.  Just too cool to sit outside much and then we didn't have the energy to do the drive and probably end up sitting inside.  That's silly really as most of the year we can't sit outside there, but I guess in summer we have the expectation to profit from our garden.  I guess we simply lack energy lately so the drive felt just too much and we chilled at home (in higher temperatures than in the east of Belgium). 

But we've been in the previous weekends at the end of June and start of July when it was quite hot.  Then we enjoy the little house that tends to stay much cooler than the city house in Leuven.  And we've use the little pool again.  Time was more limited due to appointments in our agenda, but the time there was very much worth it.  I hope for much more of it in August.
