A night swim in the pool and cleaning it up for the winter

A month ago it was still a really. nice Indian Summer day.  So we profited our last empty weekend of this schoolyear that wasn't partially blocked with scouting appointments, judo practice or tournaments, birthday parties and other social appointments. A full weekend with no plans but the weather would turn for the worse on Sunday. 

So we squeezed all we had out of it on Saturday: walking, lounging in the garden, and in the evening when the water pump had sufficiently heated the water, we enjoyed a little night swimming at dusk.  Quite chill with adapted lighting and a couple of cows curiously nearby.  Haha. 

2 weeks later, summer was really over.  Autumn has arrived, and we had to kick ourselves outside, in the rain, to get the pool cleaned up and packed until next season.  But with all of us helping, we fixed that rather smoothly and quick.
