We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Daan - Western

 

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

Anne served me a French Classic and I apparently do not know the French Classics. Thank you for introducing me to Mc Solaar.  He was serving a new western.  

The French vibe made me think of Manau but that was too folkie to compare to Mc Solaar.  Damso and Roméo Elvis might be better? But I'm not too much fan.

So I jumped on the Western angle.  I really really hesitated between Beyoncé who surely is making new western music when jumping on country.  But I really love Daan's Western also.

In the end I asked AI to give me an analysis on rhythm, tone, lyrics, graphics, style, ... and see who was most comparable with Mc Solaar.  It was rather clear and unanymous:  Beyoncé was too poppy while Daan and Mc Solaar are much more aligned.  So Daan it is...
