We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Calexico - Yours and Mine

 

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

I had never heard of Tiny Ruins before when Anne served me with some museums and wintergardens. What a special title...It seemed to come from a book or movie script. It's all about cosyness, connection, slowing down, ...

First I thought of Secret garden with Nocturn. Would have been perfect but we've had that already in our 6 years old (!!) series. So I had to move on and search further.  Browsing in songs about winter gardens, was very often instrumental music.  
Museum songs are more rare and in all kinds of atmosphere.

Another move was checking Tiny Ruins name.  Ruins...interesting.  I found the album Garden Ruin by Calexico. Ha, now I was getting somewhere.  
And with Yours and Mine I was still in the "me in the... you in the ..." theme too and...it was the right atmosphere. BAM, nailed it.
