Walk to the daycare
We walk to daycare in the morning.
I carry him across the traffic lights and stumble at the park entrance. "It's ok, it's ok, mommy it's ok" he says while holding my cheeks with his little hands.
I give him some kisses and he hugs me and kisses my cheek in return. He giggles. I feel the little arms across my neck. Then he wants to walk.
"This way, this way mommy", he leads me the way.
He pulls up his pants and off he goes.
I follow this little man and observe him.
Just a few more weeks and he'll pull up his pants and we'll walk to school instead of daycare. My little boy. "It's ok mommy, it's ok", I repeat to myself.
