The end of an era
School's been out for a week now. The boys have each already enjoyed a couple of days of (sports) camps.
Monday marked the end of an era with both boys in the elementary school. In September Kabouter will start in high school and Beertje will continue in the elementary school without his big brother around. They both decided they needed a nice shirt on their last school day to mark that milestone.
The last weeks in June, this upcoming milestone had made me nostalgic already, so I profited in the days before to take multiple pictures of our walk together to keep it as a memory.
It's with gratitude that I look back as always to the great work and love that the teachers have given to our boys and their friends. The boys gave them self-made Swedisch "Brussels kekse" (Brussels cookies, according to the Swedish).
