We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor : Isolde Lasoen - Provocateur

 

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

Anne chose Daan with his classic hit Swedish Designer Drugs. I love Daan, I love him as an alround artist that can settle with quite some styles.  I also love his talented band and had to think of Isolde Lasoen. Yes, I decided quickly that I wanted to do something by Isolde Lasoen. 

So I scrolled and listened to her songs and then stumbled on this song...and somehow I had to think that she recorded it referring to Daan. It was in the years after Daan had an attitude issue, arrived drunk on stage etc.  It seemed so right.
