Climate camping with school

At the end of May almost the entire elementary school of the boys went camping at the CSA farm in the neighbourhood where we go and harvest our vegetables.   All classes as of grade 2 , left for 2 days to live and work at the farm.

I was rather jealous that we have not done such exciting activities with school as a child and I was dying to see some pictures of it all that other parents would post in the parent's whatsapp groups when they went to go and give a hand to set-up the tents or make dinner.

As a mother of course I had to think and wonder if my boy would be warm and cosy in his tent, but since he has already slept a few times in tents with the boy scouts I wasn't too worried.
Unfortunately I woke up with a few messages from the teacher in the morning. Apparently hay fever had struck very heavily during his stay amidst the grassy fields and he didn't feel well, couldn't stop coughing, hadn't slept etc... We brought him some medication but in the end Jan ended up picking him up and bringing him home where he slept most of the afternoon.

Despite astma medication and antihestamine pills, his cough and symptoms still go up and down a month later.
