Mini-golf in Malmédy

Playing minigolf together has become one of our new summer traditions. We discovered it previous years in France, played once in Leuven and tested last summer the game in Butgenbach.  Right at the start of this summer, we returned to Butgenbach, but we really had to test the game in Malmédy.

We had there been before in vain (as we did in Butgenbach as well: the issue is that it's always open in Summer except when 'it's rainy'...sometimes rainy is hard to specify) but this time it was open.  The mini-golf is in the public park next to the playground.  After paying our fee at the cash-only stand (hmm, isn't that illegal since July 2022?), we could start our game.

After a few tees we realized that the challenges were the same as in Butgenbach, much to the disappointment of Kabouter who wanted to train himself in new challenges.  Oh well, I told him that there are probably not that many mini-golf factories out there to create a lot of variety. I have no clue if that's true or not.

Anyhow, we had a good time and sat down on the terrace afterwards while the children were playing in the playground and escaped from the wasps that were hunting our drinks.  We payed a whopping 7,5€ for a coffee, a sangria (from a bottle with frozen fruit) and 2 fanta's.   Ha you have to love the east of Belgium.
