We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Lous and the Yakouza - Hiroshima

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

You can find our in the mean time long and fun playlist on Spotify and op Youtube. Subscribing to it is possible!  (and I corrected all the hyperlinks that apparently had been broken on my site for quite a long time. Thank you for the attentive reader to alarm me).

We were on a nice funny stroke together with cartoon music and other happy songs until Anne sort of blew the atmosphere with Fatboy Slim's Sunset song.   That one threw us back to the horror's of an atomic war. I guess I was to blame for chosing the B52's.

I hesitated to go the road of a fatboy....by chosing Meatloaf or to continue on the war path.

  • Atomic Kitten
  • Doe Maar - De bom
  • Lous and the Yakouza - Hiroshima

The most straightforward for my taste of music and fanship would be to choose Doe Maar.  But lately I've been pleasantly amused by Belgium's new rising star of Lous and the Yakouza...so let's put her in the spotlight!
