Happy 80th birthday to my mother

 

My mother turned 80 this week. What a milestone, that is not given to everyone.  Without any doubt we couldn't let that go by at a distance, so my sister and I took time off from work. 

We spend the afternoon cosy together with cake, flowers and mystery gifts.  

And then we were getting ready for a little garden party for the neighbourhood.  

On a glorious Indian Summer night, the whole neighbourhood gathered for drinks and snacks to toast on my mom's birthday and it was great fun.
