I just flew up and down to Canada last week and got ill home
I flew previous week for 6 days up and down to Canada to visit during 3 days friends and family and attend my host father's funeral celebration. It was a tight challenging schedule keeping me 2 days "in the air" and only allowing me to sleep in a bed 4 times over 6 days.
What I didn't plan for was to fall ill but I did. A simple cough transformed in shivering and glowing during 4 days. I only kept the fever down by taking medication every 4 hours, by squeezing the limited visiting time even more to allow for some much needed naps.
I attempted to go back at work upon my return but the doctor ordered me to rest quickly. She was right, I was dizzy, nausea etc. So off to my bed for most of the weekend. Being ill clearly overrules the "staying awake" rule of the jetlag. I just wanted to sleep if I wasn't coughing.
and now on day 10, I am so sick of being ill.
