A late chocolate hunt

There was a bit of stress with Beertje before our vacation. What would the Easter bunny do? We told him very frankly that there was no time on Easter morning to go and look for eggs so he didn't know if the chocolate eggs would last so long in our garden.  We tried a little letter. 

Ok cool, visibly we had not noticed any eggs just before we left, so we had to wait and see.

Upon our return there were no eggs either, not even on Sunday morning when we were sleepy & jetlagged. But after all, Sunday was still vacation and he had asked to wait until after the vacation.  He checked a few times on Sunday though but the garden was empty.


Fortunately the good bunny had read the letter and its question well as we did find some chocolate in the garden last Monday morning. Pheww. The chocolate indigestion is currently ongoing for the children.
