Pool time in the east of Belgium
Remember our garden transitions that we worked on in June? Well we finished it off in July and it resulted in a big new deck below the garden under and around the swing set.
That enabled us to put our little build-up pool for the summer down below, out of sight of our neighbours and the road (unlike previous years where we had put it on the most sunny spot right in front of our house). Now the pool would be in the shade of our big tree but to counter that Jan had purchased a 2nd hand heat pump. Hopefully this way we'd also use the pool more than all previous summers where we usually chickened out quickly after tipping our toes in the cold water. We planned to spend a lot more time in the east of Belgium this summer so it would be nice if we could actually enjoy a bit of water now and then even during a whimsical summer.
We installed it all early July and have already fully enjoyed it. With the remainder of August not predicted too hot, I am very happy that our little pump easily heats the water up to 33C or more. So let's do some splashing.
