Rotary soirée chantant with Barbara Dex

The local Rotary club had organised a concert. Jan was still in a plane on his way home but got me tickets so I already went ahead.  

Due to some misunderstanding, I was all of a sudden assigned a bar shift and before I could wonder what was happening I was asked to serve champagne while the hall was filling with people.  And so I learned how to use dry ice to make smokey ice buckets of which I must have served over a hundred.   
Oh well, I think it was better to be busy and active than to sit on my own at a table without knowing anyone around. 

Barbara Dex served with her excellent singing quality a good mix of sing-along songs that evening that were easy and fun to digest.   Too bad she is not performing with more of her own music with all that talent.
