The randomness of things tag
I've stolen this tag from Kris10 who has seen it at Irene's blog.
1. Take the book closest to you, go to page 18 and search line 4:
"Hij was meteen verliefd geworden op de wijngaarden, de glooiende heuvels, de schemerige grotten en de enorme wijnkelders."
2. Stretch your left arm as far as you can. What can you touch?
The wood of this garden table and almost an old broken water spray.
3. What were you doing before you started to fill in this tag?
Surfing on some websites outside in the garden, with view of a cow about to give birth but unfortunately the farmer guided her away.
4. What do you hear at the moment.
Running water of our little pool that is filling for the season.
5. When was the last time that you went outside?
I am currently outside in our garden, in the shade, hiding for the heat.
6. Did you dream last night?
I assume I did
7. When was the last time you laughed?
Oh gosh not sure...I got a comment this week at work from a co-worker that she was so pleased to have spotted me seen laughing since she thinks I do it less recently.
8 What's hanging on the wall of the room you are in?
Outdoor light bulbs
9. Would you ever consider migrating?
Yes to the west of Canada
10. Who called you last time?
My mom
11. What was the last time you swam in a pool?
Really swimming? That must have been in a hotel pool at the coast last summer. I don't do much swimming anymore.
12. Are you listening to music at the moment?
No not at this moment
13. What is the colour of the floor in your bedroom?
It is an oak parquet floor.
14. If you could change something at your home (even if it is not possible or handy), what would it be?
Hmm I'd annex some of the neighbours gardens so to get some more outdoor space ourselves :D. And the neighbours house could transform into a garage for us. Not having a garage and always searching parking space (and not having the possibility to have our own electric charger etc etc) is a disadvantage of city centre living.
15. What is the last thing you've purchased?
I ordered a small alarm clock for my mom online and had it shipped to her , to replace her broken one.
16. Did you ever ride a motor cycle?
Nope I never did and I don't plan to do so.
17. What is the furtest you've ever been away?
Hmm I assume that is our honeymoon in Bali
18. Did you ever won a trophee or cup?
Trophee or cup sounds very much like sports prizes and since I've never done much sports, I did not.
But my master's thesis has won an award.
19. What was the name of your first pet?
We had a yellow canary when I grew up and his name was "Piet". How original. And when I was 5 I won a gold fish at the fair and brought it home in a little plastic bag. My sister named him "Zwemvlies".
21. What do you do when you are bored?
I guess I scroll a lot online, or I pick up a book or watch some tv
22. What profession did you think you'd do when you were young?
I wanted to become a waiter because I wrongly assumed I could pretaste all the plates that went out of the kitchen. I lost my interest in the job when I realized this would not be appreciated at all.
23. What care are you driving?
I'm driving a red electric Mercedes SUV
24. What jobs did you have?
I was a consultant in a big consultancy firm, IT business analist in a major brewery , project manager and customer service manager in my current job.
25. How far away do you live from my birth place?
86 kilometers...I don't know the exact spot anymore since the hospital I was born at does not exist anymore and I don't know the address. But I currently live 86 kms from my birth city (which is not my home town).
