Fun socks
Recently we visted some friends and we were asked to take our shoes off. No issue. And then I noticed we sat there with some beer socks, some pizza socks and some banana socks.
Ha fun socks are a clear sign of the times and I admit that after a decade chosing plain grey and black socks for easiness, we started buying the boys some funny socks. And after a while I was in fact a bit jealous for their socks that gave me a smile on my face when they put it on. And that's the point: I still don't think other people often see your socks so it's a bit lost effort and money for others. But that little smile for yourself is worth it.
I think some of my first pairs were in the Vancouver Acquarium where I fell for their sea otter socks. Where I had forbidden the children to beg for souvenirs in each gift shop we pass on vacation, I did sneak to the cash register quickly with 2 pairs.
Unfortunately after 3 years they have clearly shrunk and thinned by now.
And Jan brought me back these socks that seem very good quality. with some highland cows and some sea otters again.
The only issue is that I currently share the same shoe size as the boys, so I lose my socks all the time and I need to confiscate my socks from their drawer.
