We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Bad Bunny - El Apagón

 

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

Fruit juices or tropical vibes...Anne and I are clearly ready for this hot weather and the upcoming summer.  I must admit that I was tempted to continue with some more fruitjuices or absurd tropical associations. 

But I had recently enjoyed my son's playlist and had asked him who a contageously song with groovy hot dance vibe was from.  Bad Bunny.  So in the last weeks I've explored some of Bad Bunny's music further. And ... he sure is a tropical vibe.

And some of his songs are raw, not so much "fun" if you dig further into it. More atypical as was Anne's choice with Beck.  El Apagón is a clear indictment of the capitalistic tourists robbing a land and its richness from the locals.  Quite similar as Becks complaint.
