Beach life at the Croissette in Cannes

As of the first Thursday of April, the weather at the Côte d'Azur promised to become sunny and mildly warm and so it did. On the last 3 days of our vacation we spent each time several hours on the beach with the children who had fun playing in the sand while we were enjoying a book, a coffee or ice-cream or some glasses of wine.  I felt like God in France. It felt so good to take it easy and soak in the first sun of the year (ouch, I got sunburn though, I underestimated that first sun) even though there was still a cold wind.
