Bread and games in Heuvelland
So we were touring previous weekend with "Rondje Westhoek" in our oldtimers. The theme of the region seems to be mainly about wine/ beer and games. If you think that that southwest border region of Belgium is only about Flanders Fields and the World War I heritage, you clearly think wrong.

With 2 trappist abbeys in the area and WestVleteren being the most famous beer in the world, the region has a clear culture. We visited Sint Bernardus, who has according to the rumours the Westvleteren recipe.
