Sledging around the boglands of Sourbrodt

We got a full morning of fresh snow on the Tuesday after Easter.  Hmm, I had promised the boys that it might be some white landscapes but not much more.  Well it was more.  So either we could whine about this odd weather or we could fully embrace it and promise the boys to go sledging.

We went to Sourbrodt assuming there would be more snow at a higher height but in the end there was no more (or even less) than at our house. Oh well, on most trails there was sufficient snow to pull the sledge, and it was great to see the boglands covered in white once again. 

It was great out

and equially great to get inside again after our sledge/hike to warm up again.
