Viewing toads at Schwarzsee

When we visited Schwarzsee in the Easter vacation, we all of a sudden spotted a toad crossing the trail.  Much to our pleasant surprise it stayed still , allowing us to take good pictures of it. 

Then we noticed the lake being full of toads, swimming by or chilling in the sun. 

Now that I saw them, we spotted many more of them in the ditch along the road.  Never been able to observe them so closely. Quite wonderful.
