Pool time during our vacation

Most of the time in Gran Canaria we sit next to the pool , while the children are in and out the pool. 

Our hotel has a brilliant kid's pool with a size limit of 1m40.  So last year we assumed our children would not be able to go in the splash pool anymore. But they did immediately anyhow.  Kabouter managed a few days before getting noticed and sent out, but Beertje got sized up by the guard and was allowed back in.

If you can't go in the kid's pool, you need to go to the big pool.  But the kids need company to keep entertainment: throwing balls or so with at least 2.  

A few times we moved to the upper "quiet" pool, because the higher area had longer sunshine at the end of the afternoon. 

My pool time was mainly dry though, spending most of my time reading.  Sometimes I was joined by Jan but also by Kabouter who spent some time reading.
