Images of our Christmas vacation

I take a lot of random pictures but quite often I thought "oh yes...yes, that image is Christmas vacation.

 We were able to finally spend ample time in the east of Belgium which was really nice but we arrived in the starting weekend of the school Christmas vacation and we hadn't been there in months, so the Christmas tree still needed to get set. 

We don't eat gourmet or indoor grill at the holidays but do eat that as an easy winter dinner.

But also playing with old toys as there is no unlimited screentime.  (although there is loads of that too)

Winter landscapes

So many appetizers, but also cooking together.

Watching multiple old and new Christmas specials from Death in Paradise and Beyond Paradise. Especially the new editions were so long anticipated and counted down for.  The cross over between both shows was fun! 

There was also much other Christmas tv: family movies, circus and bingwatching Vrede Op Aarde and so many other detectives  or ... Of course the New Year's concert from Vienna couldn't be out of the list either.
(yes we do have the tv on throughout most of the day).

And spotting by accident Kabouter and a class friend strolling over the market in the city center of Leuven during an emission of Dagelijkse Kost from Jeroen Meus.  

Traveling back and forth with Rodin as we can't miss him
