About hair

 I read this blog tag at Anne & Josie en Katheen and I will jump on the bandwagon. 

Do you have curly or straight hair?

As straight as it can be. For years I've tried to wave it a little with a curling device but that's no use.  For my sister's wedding I wanted something different.  I tried it first at my cousin's wedding a few months before, went to the hairdresser who curled it extensively but upon our arrival at the cousin's wedding (where it snowed in April!) , my hair was as straight as possible again.  So at my sister's wedding I had many many little braids.  And yes the week after I did have some fuzzy hair when the tiny braids got out. 

But now I don't bother anymore: it's straight.  So my styling job is just to comb it and it'll fall straight. 

How long does your routine take?

1 minute to comb. 

How often do you wash it? 

Every other day.  Because it would not be good to wash it each day and I don't like the hassle.  I must be honest though: on day 2 it often looks greasy by the end of the day so I hesitate. But I really don't want to train my hair to a daily wash, on the contrary. My hairdresser even says only washing it twice a week should be best.  

Since when do you have your current hair style?

Well since it just drops straight down there isn't much style. And the length varies from just below shoulders (rarely) up to chin level.  That depends on the summer/winter alternations . In summer it tends to be longer so I can wear it in a ponytail. 
But that style? Pff probably had it the last 20 years??

What's your favourite hair color? 

It's brown. It's my natural style so I like it. 

What's your style you never dared to cut?

Short asymmetric bob's or even shorter. 

Which colors did you have in the past? 

As a young adult I've coloured it with a red shine for quite some years but then I found it too much hassle to get the outgrow recolored in time.  

Which hair color did you have as a child? 

Brown

Are you getting grey? 

Yes, there are regular grey hair strings visible now, especially to be seen where my hair splits open.  But there' no big patches yet. 

Which braids can you make? 

Ugh, just a regular one and I think I've made attempts as a teenager to learn to make French braids. 

Did you have lice before? 

Yes as a child once.
And then I had the present from my kids one of previous summer's. Good fun. 

Color your hair yourself or go to the hairdresser? 

Hairdresser. I'm too afraid to screw it up. 

Did you ever cut a chunck out of your hair as a child? 

I don't believe I ever did. Kabouter did however. 

How do you take care of your hair? 

As stated, I wash it every other day with a Wond'r soap bar.
