Escape room

After some time in the east of Belgium, we spent the rest of the easter vacation around Leuven.  That gave us the opportunity to meet up with friends and do some activities together. Such as going to Mechelen to play an escape room in Mechelen. 

We all hopped on the train where Beertje had sneeked his shark hat along.  Tsss. 

We enjoyed a small walk through the city of Mechelen where I enjoyed some facades. 

And then it was time to escape out of a cabin in the woods.  Of course we couldn't take our phone along so no pictures from the game room but we fought some spiders, witchcraft etc. After some initial confusion all of a sudden we were launched as a rocket. I don't know what we all did because the boys were opening locks and puzzles on one corner where my friend and I found several on the other side of the room. And ...after 39 minutes and some secret doors that had already opened to us, we were back outside.  Top time! We rock. 

We enjoyed the sunny walk back to the train station and back in Leuven we enjoyed the sun a bit more with some drinks on a terrace and an ice cream to treat us on our wonderful escape.
