We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Johnny Marr - Generate! Generate!

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

Anne can often serve me an band or song that is obscure to me.  She often navigates in different musical zones that are a black gap to me. So was the band The The.  What? 
I really didn't like the video to be honest but went searching for a bad world image.

But then I somehow got attention to Johnny Marr, explored him well and listened all week to a playlist with all the bands he's been part of: The Smiths, The The, The Electrics, ... And the sound grew on me.  Anne teaches me to explore new music. So I wanted something by Johnny Marr. 

Generate! Generate! also has a world image that isn't very positive and as Anne discovered: it also has the repetition in the title that could link to The The repetition.  So the choice was made.
