Snow walk around Troupa and Sourbrodt

The previous weeked brought the first snow and the children wanted to sledge. In order to increase our success rate and find a bit more snow than in our village, we drove up higher to Sourbrodt. We have learned to avoid the Botrange at all cost on snowy moments as it brings in crowds and cars that get stuck in snowy conditions.  Sourbrodt however has more quiet woods and boglands at almost the same height.

We couldn't immediately sledge to the children's frustration, but the landscapes were breathtaking. And after some climbing and a needed cookie break to revitalize some whining children, it was sledging time.
