Microscopic views

Some of the best gifts are things the children don't ask...Kabouter's face was significant when he opened his Christmas present and discovered the microscope that Jan had bought for him.  



But we got going, and it was a lot of fun. There were a few samples included, but we started off studying Rodin's hair. Then we went on a collecting walk and returned with moss, grass, leaves and pine cones to investigate.  We still need to learn about adjusting the lens to the right position etc, but we were thrilled about some images.  




The most awesome aspect of the microscope is that it has a smartphone adjustor to attache through it which shows your result on the phone screen and allows you to take and save pictures.  It makes it much easier to watch together and share afterwards.

@Kris10: het nieuwe is er ook wel snel vanaf, nu gaan we moeten stimuleren om wat meer te xperimenteren enz.

maar ja, het was tot nu toe toch wel al tof.
