Visitors in the east of Belgium

In between the holidays of Christmas and New Year that are very social with family and friend's meetings, we escape to the east of Belgium where I can find some peace and quiet. This year also a lot of rain and grey skies. 

One afternoon one of Beertje's classmates came to visit and in some dry hours we showed them around the neighbourhood with a nice walk in the nearby villages. For the children it is nice to have a few hours where they are not stuck together with the both of them and for us, it was nice to have a drink and bond a bit more with the other parents. 

The Warche was highly swollen and wild and the trail alongside was flooded.
