We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: Florence & the machine - Morning Elvis

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

When I chose John Denver a week ago, I did not realise that I had chosen a dead artist.  But that was the link for Anne to choose a song about Buddy Holly.  It was not a song by an artist that already passed away but a song about an artist who has passed away. 

Well I wanted to pick up that link...plenty of dead artists but apparently also plenty of songs that reference to dead colleagues: explicite or implicite tributes, ... The first one that I checked were songs about Elvis: so much choice. But there truly is a long list of different ones as well.
