A cold whimsical april visit in the east of Belgium

Gosh it's cold lately.  We got treated to some freezing nights in the east of Belgium again and some snow fall! 

I enjoyed just sitting at home, but in order to get some fresh air after all, I partnered with Kabouter to go for a small Pokémon walk.  A month ago we just walked around the village, and I'd try a bit wider loop now with my knee. A bigger walk would not fit into the rain radar break we aimed for anyhow.  We weren't granted much rain-free time. 
In the meantime, Beertje and Jan started to tackle the slippery moss that has accumulated on our deck.  Beertje is usually not a good volunteer to help, but with this high pressure spray he was quite enthusiastic. 

We didn't keep up with Pokémon long because our hands were freezing off.  It was ok if we were shielded off the wind but in the wind,  I really regretted not having taken my gloves...Gosh it's the end of April ! 

All the endless rain was very visible in all the puddles. 

The highlight of our little walk was spotting a red squirrel and 2 deer .
