Trick or treat in Puerto de Mogan

So we were gone once again abroad at Halloween.  Although it's not widely celebrated in Belgium but starting more and more, our children had never done a "real trick or treat" as they claimed and they really really wanted to do real trick or treating.

There would be one in the neighbourhood when we came home of our vacation, but we didn't know what it was like yet so the children wanted to trick or treat in Gran Canaria. In the last years we learned the kid's club in the hotel organizes trick or treat activities, and although fun, it's still not really real to go in line for a game with a hotel animator.  In previous years we had noticed the halloween decorations in town but also groups of local Spanish children going around and passing by the restaurants.  So our boys were prepared and headed to the restaurant entirely in costume.

Sure enough when having our dinner, we saw other trick or treaters coming by outside and also our restaurant waiters responded immediately to the boys being in costume with some candy.

And so after they had finished their meal, off they went....a bright pumpkin and a wolf buddy.  In English / Spanish whatever they hopped together from restaurant to bar to store to gather candy with success.  Their first real trick or treat was done on the scariest night of the year.
