An Easter walk through Heverlee with Jan

We had a lazy Easter weekend.  Beertje was on a scouting weekend away so we only visited our relatives on Easter Monday.  I got myself absorbed in computer picture back-up project safeguarding years of pictures on a new network drive.  You know: one of those things you always intend to do but never do.  Did you notice I went 5 days without blog post ?? I usually blog in the weekend but now I somehow forgot. I was in a picture folder tunnel :).

But then Jan wanted to go out for a walk and I guess it was good to get away from the computer screens for a moment. The boys wanted to stay at home and hang with their sleep deprevation after a scout weekend or suffering from allergy symptoms. So it was just the 2 of us and that doesn't happen very often.

We took a wide tour all around Heverlee, passing the ice skating rink where Brad Pitts filming was completely wrapped up and disappeared again, via the army site to the Heverlee forest and to return via the Heverlee center and Arenberg castle and the engineering campus in the woods along the Dyle river.  And so we ended up at the OHL stadium close by home again.  Pretty nice.

Always funny to walk next to the highway for a moment.  But not too long as it is too noisy!
