We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: The Weeknd - Blinding lights

 

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

Frank Zappa lives in a city with tiny lights this week.  Immediately I had to think of the Weeknd, who deals with blinding lights. I love this song. Since a few years Jan celebrated his 50th birthday with a small party and Kabouter and I made a party playlist together. I did many oldies and Kabouter ensured that we also had a few newer songs in the list. We've played it a lot and the list starts with the Weeknd.  So this song gives me nice party memories.
