We keep on turning #wedraaiendoor: The Monkees - I'm a believer

 

Each Tuesday and Thursday Anne from Satur9's World and myself, play a musical pingpong game where we choose a new music song based on each other's previous choice by association of a name, style, lyric, style, location or whatever crosses in our mind. We never know what the next song will be chosen and are forced to explore beyond our comfort zone due to each other's choices.

Anne surprised me once again with a group I've never heard off: the Easybeats. The who??? The Easybeats.  Never heard of them but they seemed like an Australian Beatles. 

The Easybeats had Friday on their mind.... Quite a few artists have Friday on their mind, when you think of it. But also Monday is a popular weekday to sing about.

But in the end I wanted to keep the Beatles sound.  Who else had this typical 60ies sound.  I fell for The Monkees and their classic.
