Last weekend in a plog
Kabouter is has started his exams today and because of that (and the predicted rain in the east of Belgium), we stayed at home with not much on our agenda. And such weekends can be a blessing.
Starting the day with a coffee in the sofa, slowly. Just waking up at ease. The cat in the box shows the example how the chilling is done.

I took the opportunity to list all things potentially neededfrom the Decathlon for the summer and with a significant shopping list we drove to the nearest store. Some pictures sent back and forth to the studying scholar to make some choices but after a while we drove our very full cart to the exist with a long heavy bill (thanks to the multitude of items, not the price of them fortunately).
Time for a break for the boys who attended the Saturday afternoon judo practise. Afterwards we crossed and chatted with Mira and his owner.
Easy take-out dinner in the evening to spoil ourselves.
Sunday morning was father's day with gifts.

And then we hit the Sunday market in Heverlee early since our fridge was a bit out of food. Traditionally we try to meet up with a friend who also attends the Sunday market most weekends. She did not have good news to share, so we digested together on our regular terrace and try to give some support.
Someone can profit to use the Nintendo much more now the big brother is studying.

I kicked myself into discipline to sort out my closet and finally switch the summer sweaters high up out of reach with the winter sweaters down below.
While having the ladder out, I also rechecked our water damage in the living room (that post still needs to come). Fortunately our closet doesn't seem to have further damage anymore.

So far for staying home in Leuven because a rainy weekend got predicted... no rain seen at all so Beertje and I water my flowers and tomato plants. (I am a bit happy to see that it did rain in the east of Belgium. if not it stings not to have been there).
When the student is done, we treat ourselves to finally starting to watch the latest series of Beyond Paradise together.
