Made in Belgium: Bingo

This week there was a documentary  on tv on the rise & decline of  New Beat in Belgium at the end of the 80ies.  The decline of this hugely popular dancescene was mainly due to the commercialisation of the music type and the spin-off into many ridiculous commercial would-be's that got launched.


In the documentary they all of a sudden showed Bingo's "Arabeat" .  Gosh, so aweful, so wrong, so hideous...that it became incredibly funny.   Seeing that again put a huge grinning smile on my face.  Oh boy, Belgian music can be quite funny wrong :D.
