Some eighties nostalgia: "I lie" the sole big hit (in Belgium and the Netherlands) of Won Ton Ton in '88. The best song to sing along very loud while driving!
Bea Van Der Maat, the singer, was a tv presenter for a long time and is currently teaching.

:) ik ontdek hier altijd vanalles over belgische nummers. Had geen idee dat dat belgisch was en zeker niet dat Bea van der Maat achter die stem zat. Ik ben een beetje een jonkie denk ik.

Blijkbaar zijn ze destijds ontdekt door Maurice Engelen, doen die nog (enkel) producer was en een platenlabel had. Wist ik ook niet.

@jokemijn: nu doet ge mij oud voelen ;) om eerlijk te zijn ontdek ik ook veel bij het schrijven van de postjes hoor, omdat ik dan op internet wat achtergrond zoek
