A river cruise from Dinant to Namur and Christmas party celebrations
Previous Friday was our yearly teambuilding at work followed by the Christmas party with the entire company. As always it is organised by our well-being team as a big surprise so we don't know where we are heading when we get on the bus.
This year we drove south tho the pitoresque hometown of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the Saxophone. There we got on a river cruise. We had a lazy good time together, a lunch and a murder mystery to solve while we got transferred through 8 locks.

In the afternoon we arrived at a castle farm where we got challenged to build a very big domino perpetuum or whatever you'd call a construction of action - reaction that could move through a giant hall.
Unforuntely our cleaning lady who spoils us each morning with freshly pressed fruit juices and cut fruit salads missed a little step and hurt her foot a lot. She was in big panic since she had fractured that foot already twice in her life. While we all first reassured her that all was fine while putting some ice on her foot, we realised that we were not medically trained to know that for sure and we couldn't just leave her on a chair with ice all evening, send her home with the bus and hope she'd be alright all weekend. So we called an ambulance. Fortunately the radio's prooved indeed that there was no fracture but she was in too much pain and stress to party on so someone drove her home.
In the evening we enjoyed a nice reception and dinner and some dancing time.
