Made in Belgium: Stikstof
The hiphop scene in Brussels is alive and kicking but mostly frenchspeaking in my impression. Stikstof is an exception who have their lyrics in Dutch, with a lovely Brussels "r" in it.
I'll be honest: I had listed Stikstof as a draft post a while ago when I had heard some interviews from Zwangere Guy who also raps for Stikstof. But now that I'm researching their songs on Youtube I don't get very wild from most of it. I guess I'm not a super hiphop fan anyway. But their clip for Ja Dan is very original and I like the sax they've added to it. So they add some originality in some of their hiphop..and their r is cute. So I give them the benefit from the doubt.
