Along the frozen Warche edge

One week ago the temperatures went slightly in the direction of defrosting after a rare week of strong negative temperatures. Ha, true winter in wintertime, I love it. It felt good to have been bundled up for a full week.

We went out the door with the children and our little guest, along the Warche river in a landscape that was partially thawed and partially frozen. The ice ridges on the river edges betrayed the higher level of the river the previous days.  It resulted in glorious ice sculptures. Even the mud in the forest had cristalized in a very special way.

Our favourite sledging slope was back green.

The water levels had clearly decreased in the recent hours
