Motherhood in 15 random points

  1. Using a Cars band-aid or a Minions band-aid because that's all you have available at home anymore
  2. Always carrying one extra package of tissues in your purse or pockets for the ever running noses of the little ones
  3. Wearing a colourful but awful bead bracelet because your children made it
  4. Sniffing your children's hair when they come out of bath
  5. Being relieved each time as soon as the children are asleep while at the same time miss them like crazy
  6. Jumping in your jacket and shoe's when an over excited Kabouter comes to tell you that there's a Dragonite Pokémon at the nearby sports centre...if we please can go and catch it.... Run with both children across the park before finishing your last work at home to do so. And then succeeding in catching it yourself while the little bugger flees away for your son.
So of course then you trade off to your son.
  7. Finishing off the children's plate with cold left behind food and ketchup on anything
  8. Having a fridge full of stuff you do not want to eat yourself, but that is eaten by the little ones because the packaging has nice colours or whatever
  9. Switching the radio in the car reluctantly to some child chosen playlist
  10. Memorising the names of a few dozen stuffed animals at home, the names of a few hundred Pokémons,  Lego themes, classmates, ...
  11. Constantly wishing your children produced less decibels
  12. Giving in way too often when the children come to disturb you during the homeworking to get a cookie...just to be left alone more quickly and don't pick the fight
  13. Pretending you are going to leave their bedroom, knowing very well there is about to come a few urgent stories to tell before you close the door. But you need to get that process going by pretending you leave and go downstairs.
  14. Getting in too much detail descriptions on what they produced in the toilet.
  15. Carrying your youngest in your arms to the bathroom each night even though he's getting way too old for that but you know that if you stop that habit, it will never come back. So you can't stop it.

Friday's are for lists according to miekids.be and moederschip.be so sometimes I do the same
