French evenings and sunsets at the beach

 It took a full week of vacation at the Normandy beach in August before the clouds cleared the sky. Just when I had become desperate and also grumpy and whining about living at the beach and not seeing one sunset, we finally had the opportunity to see a beach sunset.  

Together with the boys I ran outside after dinner again to go and look.  They were rather confused though as the sun wasn't sinking in the sea...  At bedtime we could watch a little more and I couldn't profit enough to ran back to the beach once the boys were asleep. 

The 2nd week of our vacation we were more blessed with (semi-) cloudless evenings,  so we got some more gorgeous sunsets to enjoy.
